Jon is 46 Team, Vince is 30. Vince’s wife and Jon’s fiancé both use these principles as well.

Jon has been getting one email after another asking more about it, so I thought I’d help out:
“What the heck is Phase 2?”
“Is there a “Phase 3″?”
“I forgot… What Is Phase 1?”
Read this email if you want me to give you an overview so complete that you may not even need to re-read the book to find out what these Phases are all about and how to use them to get the body you want.
#1: Phase 2
Phase 2 in both 7 Minute Muscle (gym-based) and 7 Minute Body (in-home workouts) is the 14-minute version of Jon’s original 7-minute workout system.
Each body part is still only trained for 7 minutes Team, that’s it. However, in Phase 2, You don’t train just 7 minutes a day …, you combine body parts to train 14 minutes a day.
The huge benefit here is that you cut your gym time from 5 days per week (Phase 1) to only 3 days per week. But your workouts are twice a long.

The Day 1 workout in Phase 2 is Chest and Back. Chest is trained for 7 total minutes using only 2 exercises. Same with back.
So how on earth does this work so well?
Simple: It forces progression almost every workout using the 7MM Aggregate Repetition System along with “Dynamic Rest“, also called “Creative Rest.”

Put these two factors together and you increase the total workload of a normal 40-minute workout by a factor of 1.5 – 3x or more.
Each exercise has two “Intervals” My Friend, The Power Interval and The Mass Interval.
Power is for strength; Mass is for shape and adding lean muscle. Both are crucial. One is 5 minutes long; the other 2 minutes long. Each hit different muscle fibers by changing the number of repetitions done (but that number is also dynamic) …
I tell you this is THE BEST workout EVER for making faster progress!

#2: Phase 3
Yes, there is a Phase 3 Team, and the reason you don’t need videos for it is because only the most hard-core bodybuilders and athletes use Phase 3. They already know how to perform the movements.
Jon is pretty hard-core into bodybuilding but even he sticks to Phase 2. That should tell you how challenging Phase 3 is!
Phase 3 workouts are 21 minutes long but call for THREE exercises per body part rather than ONE like Phase 2 (as shown in Vince’s video page) and Phase 1.
Very Tough.
But it works like crazy Team, and it’s worth a shot after doing Phase 1 and 2 for at least 4 months.
#3: Phase 1
Phase 1 is the beginner 7MM and 7MB workout that is 7 minutes, 5 days per week. Same protocols as in Phase 2 except you train more days and less during each session.
